Amiran Japaridze Since the beginning of the 60s, the multiple-time champion and record holder of Georgia in ski racing for many years, who also competed for many years and worthily defended the sports honor of Georgia on the Saka-vshiro race. The tireless runner attracted attention not only for his athletic achievements, but was also one of the most active people in Mestia district for his civic passion. The beauty was a member of Mestia's song and dance ethnographic ensemble from the time of Platon Dadvani's leadership until the end of her life. In 1949, Amiran Japaridze finished building a house where he started a family, Amiran had three sons and one daughter. Later, his grandchildren built a hotel and also preserved the appearance of the old house so that the traces of his grandfather's house and settlement would not be erased, after which the hotel was named "Amiran" in honor of his grandfather.
